Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Seattle Fitness Magazine is a Washington business and is the seller.
We sell two different kinds of thing, and they are treated differently:
-
Digital products — ebooks and training guides you download as a PDF.
-
Apparel — tees, crewnecks, hoodies and caps that ship to you.
A downloaded file cannot be handed back, so digital products are final once downloaded. A t-shirt can be, so apparel can be returned. Both are set out below.
The short version
If what you bought is faulty, missing, or not the item you ordered, we make it right. If you downloaded an ebook and changed your mind, we do not refund it. If you bought apparel and changed your mind, send it back unworn within 15 days and we refund it.
Digital products
No refunds once the file has been downloaded. This is stated on every digital product page at the point of sale, and buying is your agreement to it.
Within 14 days of purchase we will replace or refund a digital product if:
-
The download fails or the file arrives corrupted
-
You never received a download link
-
You received the wrong item
-
You were charged twice for the same item
-
The product is materially not what the page described
Tell us and we will normally fix it first — a working file is what you actually wanted — and refund it if we cannot.
We do not refund because you read it and changed your mind, because you expected different content where the page described it accurately, or because you bought the wrong item and downloaded it anyway. If something has gone genuinely wrong, write to us and say so.
Apparel
Return apparel within 15 days of delivery for a refund, on these terms:
-
Unworn and unwashed, with the tags still on. We inspect what comes back.
-
You pay the return shipping. We do not send a prepaid label.
-
Refunds are issued once we have received the item and inspected it.
Original shipping is not refunded on a change-of-mind return.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or is the wrong item or size from what you ordered, that is on us: tell us within 15 days of delivery and we replace it or refund it in full, return shipping included.
Email info@timbr.fit before you send anything back. We will reply with the return address and match your parcel to your order. We do not publish the return address, and a parcel sent back without asking us first may not be accepted.
How to ask
Email info@timbr.fit with:
-
The email address you used at checkout
-
The order number, or the approximate date and the item
-
What went wrong, and a photo if the item arrived damaged
We aim to reply within 5 business days and to complete an approved refund within 14 business days of approving it, or of receiving a returned item. Refunds go back to the original payment method — we cannot send them anywhere else. Your bank or PayPal may take a few days more to show it.
Discount codes and affiliate links
A discount code or an affiliate link does not change any of the above. A discounted purchase is refunded at the price you actually paid.
Payment providers have their own, longer windows
The periods above are the windows in which we are obliged to put something right. They are not the limit of what you can recover, and nothing here overrides the payment provider you used.
-
PayPal lets a buyer open a dispute for up to 180 days from payment (or 30 days from delivery for a "not as described" claim, whichever comes first), and lets us issue a refund for up to 180 days. PayPal Buyer Protection is not limited to physical goods.
-
Card payments through Wix can be charged back for up to about 120 days after the payment settles.
Those windows belong to PayPal and to your card issuer. We cannot shorten them and this policy does not try to.
Before you charge back
Please email us first. A chargeback opened before you have told us takes weeks, costs us a fee, and usually ends with the same outcome we would have given you in a day. If we cannot resolve it, your right to dispute the charge with your bank or with PayPal is untouched.
Your statutory rights
Nothing here removes rights you have under Washington State consumer protection law or any other law that applies to you.
The newsletter and the trainer directory
Both are free. Nothing is charged, so nothing is refundable. Unsubscribe with the link in any email; to remove a trainer profile, write to us.
