The Fall 2026 Seattle Race Calendar: Verified Against the Races' Own Registration Pages

Thirty-plus Puget Sound races from September through November, every date and price checked against the race's own registration page. Including four deadlines closing within days and five organizers who contradict themselves.

<h2>Checked Against the Source, Not the Listing Services</h2> <p>Every date and price below was checked on August 24, 2026, against the race&#x27;s own registration platform or official site, not a listing service. That matters this season: several organizers cannot agree with themselves about when their own event happens, and two national aggregators have the marquee race of the fall off by two months. This calendar runs by month, then what expires within days, then what is simply wrong, then what will not happen. Where sources conflict, both figures appear with attribution, since burying one just adds a fourth error to the pile.</p> <h2>September</h2> <p>Newcastle Beach Triathlon opens the month Sunday, September 6, in Bellevue at $85, capped and filling fast. Saturday the 12th pairs the net-downhill Cascade Express Marathon and Half in North Bend at $171 and $141, rising the next day, with the Corn Maze Craze 5K/7K in Snohomish at $47 and $53. Sunday the 13th brings the 49th annual Skagit Flats Marathon, Half and 5K in Burlington, capped at 800, tiered $65-110, $45-75 and $30-40. The 19th and 20th form the fall&#x27;s busiest weekend: the Boston-qualifying, downhill Fall Mud Mountain Dam Marathon and Half runs Enumclaw to Orting at $125 and $115; Seattle Spartan Race takes Monroe both days, Sprint, Super and Beast from $129, $155 and $195, kids from $29; and Brooks Orca Half Marathon runs Lincoln Park to Don Armeni Boat Launch in West Seattle, Saturday or Sunday plus an 8-miler, at $106, $91 and $183 for the Blowhole Challenge. The 20th also carries the Bellingham Bay Marathon, Half, 10K and 5K at $140 and $115, and the 18th annual Run of Hope Seattle at $35, with a 3K walk and Kids Dash. Saturday the 26th closes the month with the Fidalgo Trail Run at Bowman Bay, three distances from $60 to $125, contingent on a state parks permit, and the wave-capped Oktoberfest Run in Lincoln Park at $45, $50 and $60. Puyallup Valley Half and 10K follows the 27th, capped at 200 registrants, $65 and $50, closing the day before.</p> <h2>October</h2> <p>Saturday, October 3 opens with the Hyak Passage 25K at Snoqualmie Pass, now directed by Cielo Running rather than Rainshadow Running, $139 through September 14 and $155 after, alongside the Seattle Kraken 5K at Green Lake Park, $35 general and $15 for kids, benefiting the Kraken Hockey Fights Cancer Fund. Sunday the 4th brings the Poulsbo Half and 10K, 87 spots left on the 10K, and a price conflict: RunSignup lists $95 and $68, orcarunning.com lists $105 and $78. Saturday the 10th offers the Middle Fork Trail Run out of North Bend, 10K through 50K at $48, $64, $73 and $84. Sunday the 11th pairs the Snohomish River Run, marathon through 5K at 7:30am and 8:00am with no price published anywhere, with the Kitsap Color Classic, a Cascade Bicycle Club ride from Edmonds or Kingston at $70-85 plus $20 youth, $15 off by September 22, closing October 8. Greenlake 5K and Wellness Festival runs the 24th at $45 through August 30 and $55 after. Deception Pass Fall runs the 7th and 8th in Oak Harbor: 50K and Marathon Saturday at $175 and $160, 25K Sunday at $145 alongside a free kids 1K. Kirkland Turkey Trot runs the 15th at Juanita Beach Park, $39.90 to $56.06 across student, adult, 5K and 10K rates, benefiting Imagine Housing. Ravenna Refresher Trail Run follows the 21st at $35, $43 and $53, early tier through October 20. Thanksgiving, Thursday the 26th, is the heaviest day on the calendar: Magnuson Turkey Trot runs Magnuson Park at $32, $38, $43 and $6; Tacoma City Turkey Trot 5K runs Proctor District at $52.50, $57.50 after September 15; Woodinville Turkey Trot 5K runs Wilmot Gateway Park at $40, rising after October 31; and Maple Valley Turkey Trot 5K, untimed, benefiting the local food bank, runs Lake Wilderness Park at $30, rising after August 31. Auburn Turkey Trot, a $30 race benefiting the Auburn Public Schools Foundation, lists its date as &quot;Thursday, November 24th.&quot; November 24, 2026 is a Tuesday. Thanksgiving that year falls on Thursday, November 26. The published date cannot exist. Duthie Hill USAT Duathlon, a $55 race in Sammamish, contradicts itself on one page: body text says September 19, 2026, the header widget says October 2, the time field reads October 2, 2027. A separate listing from the same organizer files it under October 2, the date to trust. Woodinville Wine Ride, a 20-mile ride from Black Raven Brewing, is dated September 13 by Cascade Bicycle Club&#x27;s own FAQ and announcement post, but a third-party listing puts it a week earlier, September 6, a date that listing flags as unconfirmed. Two aggregators, RunGuides and RaceRaves, list the Seattle Marathon for September 19 and 20. The official site puts it on November 29, a two-month gap. Two race pairs also look like single events double-listed under separate names: October 31 shows both a &quot;PB&amp;J Fuel Run&quot; and a &quot;Halloween Trick or Trot Run&quot; at the same time and venue, Golden Gardens Park, and November 28 shows both a &quot;Coffee Lovers Run&quot; and a &quot;Thanksgiving Gobble Trot Run&quot; the same way. Each pair is almost certainly one race counted twice.</p> <h2>What Will Not Happen</h2> <p>Four fall events are confirmed off the calendar, a fifth unconfirmable. Teanaway Country 100M, 50M and 50K, set for September 19-20, is cancelled: the organizer cites the Three Queens Fire burning within six miles of the start line, tentatively resuming in 2027. Mad Meadows 50K and 50M, set for October 10 near Leavenworth, is cancelled over the Little Giant Fire, trails and roads not repaired in time. Tour de Blast is cancelled outright for 2026, a call the Rotary Club of Longview attributes to low participation and funding. Moran Constitutional Relay on Orcas Island, set for September 19-20, has closed registration, full at its 50-team cap with a waiting list.
